Puzzles. A great mind exercise for kids. It involves hand-eye coordination, fitting pieces into place, recollection, trial and error, and now an award when you finish... a super cool sound! Melissa and Doug are, in their own right, masters of creativity. They feed imaginations and that's why I love their products. Pictured above are the Train and Fire Engine Sound Puzzles. You guessed it. The puzzles make their respective sound when all the pieces are in place. My boys played with these over and over again. Another great puzzle is their Latches Play Board where tots need to figure out how to latch and unlatch different types of locks. Don't worry, there are no door knobs locks!
