I believe a child cannot have too many books - as you can probably tell from a few of my other posts on children's books (If I Built a Car and Dinosaur Stomp). Another favorite of mine is The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith.
A. Wolf believes he was framed and he decides to finally share his side of the Three Little Pigs story. Basically, he was just out trying to find a cup of sugar for his dear old Granny's birthday cake. It is absolutely hilarious. How people think things up like this is beyond me! The author is incredibly imaginative. This is another must have in your child's library. And of course, it is a book you can read over and over again.
